About the Law Offices of Stephen Ketaineck: What you should know

Stephen Ketaineck has been practicing law in the greater New Haven area since 1973. His law office is located in the beautiful Harborview Professional Offices on the shoreline in West Haven, with sweeping views of Long Island Sound. A West Haven native, Stephen has resided in East Haven since 2016 where he lives with his wife, Francie.
Stephen was born in New Haven, Connecticut, grew up in West Haven and graduated from Milford Academy. He received his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College in Maine and his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1972. After law school, he joined a West Haven law firm as a junior associate and then co-founded the firm of Mirto & Ketaineck, P.C. in 1978 in the same location as his current offices.
He has been very active in the local and professional community. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the West Haven Chamber of Commerce, and a former associate member of the New Haven Board of Realtors. He and his wife served as co-chairs of The Community Nursery School in Guilford and are former members of the Guilford Soccerfest Committee. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the West Haven Bar Association and a member of the New Haven County and Connecticut Bar Associations.
Stephen has given numerous informal seminars to small and large groups on real estate issues and served as faculty in real estate seminars for lawyers sponsored by the National Business Institute. He is a participating attorney in Met Life Legal Service Plan, a prepaid legal service plan offered as an employee benefit by numerous Connecticut employers including Pfizer, Schick, Energizer, Pitney Bowes and UBS.
